We offer surf courses for beginners, improvers and developers, private and group lessons, so whatever your standard of surfing, we can help. We know how to get you surfing better, whilst keeping you safe and making sure you have a fantastic experience. Our unique teaching methods and skill development techniques have evolved over the fifteen years we have been running Harlyn Surf School and we like to think ‘outside of the box’ to help you learn new surfing skills. Sessions are designed to focus on each individual’s goals and skill development.
We believe in offering you outstanding customer service and the highest level of personalised surf tuition. Any programme is only as good as its staff and their training. All our staff are CRB checked, qualified lifesavers, first aiders and experienced in coaching and working with children. Each has been personally trained by Harlyn Surf School owner, Chris Rea, who has extensive experience in this area. We are really proud to be the only surf school in the UK to be awarded an Adventure Activity Licence as a mark of our good safety management and we are an Academy of Surfing Accredited surf school. ASI are the world leaders in surfing education and accreditation.
We run two lessons each day between April and October. Meet at our surf cabin on Harlyn Beach at 9.30am to start at 10am and at 1.30pm to start at 2pm.
