We offer surf courses for beginners, improvers and developers, private and group lessons, so whatever your standard of surfing, we can help. We know how to get you surfing better, whilst keeping you safe and making sure you have a fantastic experience. Our unique teaching methods and skill development techniques have evolved over the 17 years we have been running Harlyn Surf School and we like to think ‘outside of the box’ to help you learn new surfing skills. Sessions are designed to focus on each individual’s goals and skill development.
We run two lessons each day between April and October. Lessons can be booked as a single session, full day experience or as a 4 lesson intensive course. If you really want to get to grips with surfing then we recommend that you book a series of lessons which will really help you progress. For those that wish to have a lesson and then practice in the afternoon we offer a popular surf 'n' hire course. Our sumer surf camp week courses during the school holidays are very popular for children and teenagers. Meet at our surf cabin on Harlyn Beach at 9.30am to start at 10am and at 1.30pm to start at 2pm. All our surfing lessons include FREE use of equipment, boards and wetsuits.
