Combined Lifeguard/Surf Instructor Course

It is so much easier to take both courses with the same company as it saves on travel and accommodation costs. We are one of a very few training centres where you gain both your lifesaving and surf instructor qualifications and complete your probationary work experience all at the same time.

We have been running a very successful surf school at Harlyn Bay since 1994 and we have a wealth of coaching experience. Your learning and practical approach will be guided by one of our highly experienced instructors who will be able to offer you feedback and advice throughout your training. The quality of your work experience is very important and the only real way to learn is to get "hands on" and through our network of school clients we arrange for school pupils to come and have a surfing lesson with us at Harlyn bay.

There are a lot of surf schools for you to choose from, some are much better than others. If you want to gain experience with one of the best and most experienced then you should choose us -- who knows if you excel and prove that you have got what it takes to be a good instructor then we may even have a job available for you!!

Our combined courses are very popular and the usual schedule is that the surf instructor course runs over 3 days Fri - Sunday with the lifesaving course immediately afterwards from a Mon - Sat. So choose your instructor course first and then choose the lifesaving course that starts immediately after

We have linked up with two of the top european surf camps, The Surf Experience in Portugal and Oceano Surf Camp in SW Spain and we wil be offering our courses overseas during the winter months. For more information click HERE
