Our Location & Safety Standards -- We are a fully insured council licensed surf school ensuring that we meet stringent operating criteria. We are also a Level 4 British Surfing Association Approved surf school, the highest level attainable. Having exclusive use of Harlyn beach ensures that our surf school will be the only one in the water and therefore you will be in uncrowded conditions unlike on other beaches. Harlyn is the closest beach to Padstow and is the best learning beach in the immediate area as well as being recognised as one of the safest beaches on the Cornish coast. On the rare occasions when the conditions are unsuitable we do have the flexibility to use other beaches in the area. The beaches at Constantine, Boobys, Porthcothan, Treyarnon and Trevone are fantastic in their own right but they are rarely suitable to teach beginner or improvers and are more appropriate for experienced surfers.
